So I should have my battery load tested. If the battery does not have enough juice will it not even turn the motor.

Anything is possible... Let me ask you this in reference to what you just asked. When it dies, and you try to start it with the lights on do the lights dim out some or any change in their brightness at all?

lights stay on, don't dim at all. but as soon as you push the pedal it acts as if the key is in the off position.

This is all I can think of... Since the problem was exactly the same b4 the key switch changeout and the coil pack swap, I don't see how it could be a wiring issue unless you have a ground that is giving you a problem. I am assuming that this just popped up all of a sudden.... The battery condition or the solenoid or a ground connection is what I'm thinkin. I know it's broad and hazy, but w/o having somethin in front of me to watch and bactrack it's hard to pinpoint somethin so tricky. In the tech section, you can find some wiring schematics that may help the cause to. They might lead you to a common ground that the starting system is sharing with the lighting circuit that is vital to this problem... Do some checkin and see what you turn up.. I would be interested to know what you do find!! Good Luck!
