Default 09 RXV gas yesterday for $3,995 + tax

I am posting for the first time here on BuggiesGoneWild, after selling my 95 Club Car 48v and bringing home my 09 E-Z-GO RXV gas. I had to email E-Z-GO for help with registering my cart but I must say I am a bit disappointed as I received no owners manual with my cart. When you buy a car you get a manual telling you how to use lights, wipers etc... but nothing with my RXV.

I had to ask an E-Z-GO tech online for the recommend oil and when they replied they never even told me how much is used to refill the Kawasaki motor.

Is it just me or am I expecting too much?

Welcome to BGW!

Was this a "NEW" cart from an EZ-Go Authorized Dealer, or a used cart from a private party?

It was sold as a NEW cart, I did get it registered with the E-Z-GO folks in GA and it is suppose to have a 2 year limited warranty... I am still trying to verify that as I did not receive any warranty paperwork at the time of sale... I was told that E-Z-GO would have that info for me.

All E-Z-GO told me is that they recommends name brand 10W30...

If an authorized dealer sold it to you than I would make them get you the owners manual and warranty paper work. All my new carts I sale comes with owners manual and the warranty paper work to so what is covered and what is not.

When that dealer got the cart it had the owners manual tied to the steering column. Ask them for it. DO NOT BUY IT.

That I kno of there is no break in period. Chenge the oil once a year under normal conditions, if used commercally I recommend you change it every 6 mths. gas you can run whatever you want. We put 87 in ours b4 we sell them. As far as oil we put in 10/30 royal purple oil in them. I am a royal purple distributor is the reason for using that oil.

Great! Thanks for the link... it's a good start.
I did get a hold of Robert at E-Z-GO and he said I would be getting a pdf file of the owners manual... he also confirmed that it is a new cart with 2 year limited warranty.

I wasn't sure about going to synthetic oil until the motor has been run a few hours, or broken in so to speak... I use synthetic in my Harley and I know it runs cooler because of it, but my gearbox is noisy with synthetic.
I actually found the dip stick today...
Owners manual sure would of been nice.
