I'm trying to save 2 from the scrapman, how much do they weigh?
First of all, GREAT site! I found at a recycling facility yesterday what look to be 2 tuff1 carts. Long story short, I was told I could have both for $50. Needless to say, I'm jumping on it. I don't know anything about them except what I've read on here in the last 24 hours. I'm guessing they are early to mid '90's, with the diamond plate nose and the dump body. They also have a full hard sided enclosure, metal doors with sliding windows, roof, ect They are covered in junk, so I didn't see much else. I have to pick them up on Monday, as long as the equipment operator doesn't crush them before then. I guess my questions is this: does anyone have any idea how much they weigh? I have a utility trailer that might fit both at once, but I don't want to break a spring over it. Thanks much in advance, these are going to be some fun toys, I see it already!!!!

I will guess about 800 to a 1000 #s each.

I'll def get some pictures up as soon as I get them home... I snapped 1 with my phone, but it's not worth putting up here. They look pretty bad where they are sitting, 1 with a broken windshield, and both banged up all around. I'll be sitting on pins and needles all weekend hoping there still in one piece on Monday! 800# is suprising, I wouldn't have guessed more than 400. Guess I'll be taking 1 at a time, all good though. My dad has had a Yamaha cart for years, and all the grandkids love it. It's bone stock, well beat, and still runs like a champ. I'm really hoping I can salvage both of them, time will tell.
