lol, that defiantly sounds like something I would have done, thats the thing with these carts (from what i've experienced) sometimes if you know a lot about engines it may in some cases make things worse, the engine doesn't run you'll assume its something complicated, when it can simply be a loose wire, or a bad key switch. thats why I feel when trying to diagnose a problem, just step back and start from the most simple aspects, then get a little more technical with it, I must have experienced every electrical problem possible and so far (knock on wood) it hasn't been anything too serious.

Does this cart have ignition points? Does anyone know where I can acquire elctrical diagrams for this unit?

I am unable to locate the yr and model # of my yamaha gas golf cart have narrowed it down to a G2 or G9, ordered new ignition switch and new ignitor, thinking it needs a whole new wiring harness where and how can I obtain this?
