Has anyone used one of the upgraded power spring kits like the one below? How good are they? Thanks!

for some reason I can not pull up your web sight , but the spring I am referring to is discussion is the primer spring (the one on the motor end) the other one is the secondary drive spring. Yes I know this sound foolish but that how the golf cart gods have demeaned it. to answer what I think is your question is a up grade of the secondary spring I can only tell you what I have done. first my cart would not go over the curb in front of my house and it is only 4" high.so I started looking for new springs and found out the primary spring was no longer available for a G1 from the factory and no after markets could be found. Reading postings on this forum I noted a lot of talk about upgrading the secondary spring. It worked grate but still the primary spring has a lot of miles on it very week and I realty need a new one I have perches one of the springs off ebay it came by way of a slow boot only because I am cheap and would not pay for fast track shipping. As of today have not had time to install but I due thing this will work fine for my old girl. If there is any thing that should defiantly be replaced on a G1 that is the primer spring! I know because I have replaced every thing else all ready ! on my gold plated golf cart.

look at this sight it may help even tho it is a snowmobile clutch

Talking Re: yamaha g1 front motor cluch question

just installed new spring I think it works grate no more jump when i giver it gas from stand still, in fact it will set in one spot and just run no brake applied on my machine (idle is set low). but I noted I did not get a very high end speed as with the old spring. That ok for me I wanted a trail rider not flat tracker. "This just my opinion and that all "shade tree wench twister"
