Clutch ramp shoe g9
I had the clutch replaced on my g9 about a month ago. I notice that one of the ramp shoes is worn almost away while the other two look good. This can't be normal? Why would this happen?

Re: Clutch ramp shoe g9
Is the ramp smooth? Unless the ramp is built incorrectly or the helix is bad somehow, I don't know why they all should touch at the same time. It would have to be on the shaft badly to tilt the whole thing. But some casting flash could chew up the shoe.

Re: Clutch ramp shoe g9
I have to agree with sho. Check the inner sheave to make sure it isn't crooked on the shaft. May have a bad bushing in the sheave. Other than that, replace the ramp shoe. The helix has notches which locks it onto the shaft.
