Default Re: Chevy Volt Lithium

I purchased 2 Chevy Volt 16 cell modules. I cut off 2 cells from each to make them 14 cell batteries. I adjusted a lithium charger to output 57v max to charge each cell to 4.07v.

Since my cart is all stock and will stay that way I purchased a automotive battery pre-made wire and attached it to the 14th cell copper plate and ran the other end to the unused terminal bolt to make a negative connection point. See pic.

I have installed one of the batteries to test the performance of the cart. All I will say is I smiled for the entire 8 mile test drive.

Here is the cable attachment. Since there was room I drilled an extra hole so I could use 2 screws for a nice firm connection. Sorry for the upside down pic.
