im looking to add lights to my cart. i have 6 8v batteries on my club car. i know i need a reducer and a fuse block. im not sure which regulator or fuse block to get or how to wire the system.

Need more info . . year/model . . there are threads where voltage reducers/converters have been discussed including fuse blocks that have been used . . use SEARCH option above . . see if you can find it. . . If you can't find it, let us know . .

If you get an aftermarket DC>DC reducer and you get a fuse block from auto parts house, you can use this diagram I send out with the big 30a reducer.
It may not be exactly how your reducer wires up because this one switches on and off with the key.
Reducers present a small drain on the battery so it is best if they switch off. You can do this to any reducer.
