No Power
I have a 2006 or 2007 Club Car Precedent with brand new batteries. I have no power to the motor from what I can tell. The back up buzzer will not even come on. I have checked the run/tow switch, the key switch, their is power to the motor controller. I believe my only two choices left is the MCOR or the Speed Sensor. Is their any way to eliminate one of them as the problem?

Re: No Power
it is a 48volt, for the last year the batteries have not been holding a charge for very long. finally the cart died and was pushed back to the house. I was told the tow switch was put in tow mode. It sat up for 4 months. I just purchased 4 trojan batteries and replaced the existing. Since then I have not been able to get the cart working. I have check voltage across the run/tow switch/key switch/motor controller. they all seem to have power. Does the mcor have to be grounded to test. I removed it from the pedal assembly and tried jumping across the two wire pin. Nothing happened.

Re: No Power
what is your actual battery pack voltage? i know its a 48 volt cart but does it have 50.5 volts in it or 49.7 get a digital voltage meter and take reading from charge receptical and from batteries themselves.
are you certain you wired batteries back in correct? did you have it in tow when you worked on it?.......................................... |

Re: No Power
Pull apart the 6 pin connector of the On-board computer and jump the Red and Blue wires together with a paperclip. This bypasses the OBC. A bad OBC will keep the controller from powering up, which will cause your symptoms.

Re: No Power
I have bypassed the On-board computer and the cart buzzer works and the cart now goes in forward and reverse. What are my options for the bad OBC? Just purchase a replacement or is there a way to fix the OBC? Also, if I replace the OBC should I do a like for like replacement or is there an upgrade that I should do?
Thanks for all the help. |

Re: No Power
The number on it is a 103403201. Also, my cart has been programmed for higher speed. Does that have to be done again? Does that impact the OBC?

Re: No Power
Controller is what is programmed for higher speed, not OBC so speed will remain intact . . . and OBC not repairable . . .
