98 36V DS won't charge
Charger kicks on but is not charging. I have tryed another charger with the same result, My charger is an automatic Accu Charger and the other was an older timer style. Both chargers hum but there is nothing on the amp meter. Bypassed the fuse which checked out good anyway. Battery pack voltage is 36.5. Any ideas????

Re: 98 36V DS won't charge
I'm pretty new at the Golf cart scene. But it sounds like it might be a controller issue on the cart. Just my guess. Maybe someone with more indepth knowledge will confirm what I said.

No controller, it is a resistor cart.

Which fuse did you bypass, the one on the back of charger receptacle? Are the wires running from the back of charger receptacle connected, clean and tight?

Re: 98 36V DS won't charge
You may not be connected to the pack. check the voltage at the charge receptacle on the cart...... see what the chargers see when you plug them in. If you have proper voltage there try the OBC bypass, maybe it's a computer problem.

I would check to make sure the white wire and red wire from back of charger receptacle are connected to respective - and + battery terminals and are clean/tight . . . |

Spray the cart charger plug with some WD40. Might help the receptacle on the cart!!!
