Do I need new batteries?
I have been battling battery issues for a while and I am to the point I think I need new batteries. The question is do I need to replace the whole pack or just a single battery. Tonight my cart came to a crawl and I tested the batteries and got: 12.3, 12.3, 12.1, 7.1. The batteries are 2008 Trojans. Also, can head lights without a voltage reducer cause this problem? Do the lights pull from the battery even when they are off? I very rarely turn the lights on and when I do it's for less than 10 minutes. Any info is appreciated.

Re: Do I need new batteries?
You can replace the one 7v battery with a good used battery if you can locate one.... but the bottom line is that the batteries are at an age where we would expect them to begin to fail and this may be the first one. In six months you may be back in the same boat with a different one needing replacement.
