24v light
I have a 2007 Club Car Precedent. Is it possible to have 24v lights. I am installing a radio and need 12v connection. I metered the light wiring and I am getting 24v.

Re: 24v light
I would advise you to obtain a " voltage converter " to run your radio. These convert your entire battery pack voltage to around 12 - 13V. This way you keep all the batteries in your pack equally balanced in voltage. This is important to the proper charging and therefore the life of your batteries! You can also run 12V lights from the voltage converter.
In answer to your light question, lights are available in 24, 36, and 48V bulbs. I don't know what your cart is equipped with, though. You would have to remove a bulb and it should be marked on it. |
