99 CC did not have a true potentiometer. I assume you mean a 'multistep V-glide'.
They sometimes come up for sale from guys who upgrade to a potentiometer.... |

Re: **I need a potentiometer for a 99 Club Car DS***
yeah, my cart still won't go. I saw no input to controller which is an alltrax 300 amp, it blinks red which indicates throttle over range. I tested the range from 0-5K ohms and it was all over the place. After removing "v-glide" or whatever it is, I opened it up and found spider webs and a good amount of dirt from perhaps a dirt dobber or other bug. I see several resistors on the inside of the housing but not sure what value they are, although 2 of them I have ohmed out at 1K each. If I knew what all of them are supposed to be I can go to radio shack and buy all new ones. Then maybe after cleaning the case and installing new resistors I can get this POS to run. I guess there's no sense in buying a new one if I can try this out first. It's all I can figure since the cart has a new f/r switch, new controller, and new solenoid. Will jump for joy if this fixes it, I really need the cart for daily use around the house. Sucks dragging a 400 lb trash can to the street every week

was there a microswitch tucked down in there? if so check it......if everything is there and just dirty you should be able to work with it............its rare you have to replace the whole thing and even rarer for those resistors to go bad altough you hear of it every so often.................try cleaning it all up making sure its all moving and microswitch is good, i,m sorry so you understand the other side of the v-glide opens up and theres a movable arm and a set of copper shoes and a microswitch in there................................
