![]() I have a 1990 model ezgo that I converted to a resistor cart I can get it to go in reverse but I have no forward. When it is put in forward the contacts spark some then the connection on the f n r started smoking not sure what to check

![]() Sounds like the FNR switch is not making a good low impedance connection in Forward. That's why it's smoking!

![]() If its an Ezgo rotary switch tighten the center pivot shaft nut a 1/4 at a time and see if it 'fixes' it...

![]() Scotty tightened the switch up and no more smoke but still won't move forward but the contacts are sparking what is causing this

![]() The contacts are probably burned out to the point where that switch needs to be replaced.

![]() The contacts are not in the f n r it is a resistor cart with the contact board for the speed control that's where the sparks are coming from
