Default Re: Large Arc when hooking up Negative Cable

Finally figured it out for the large ARC with the shower of sparks when hooking up the negative terminal. I first tried the v-glide pedal wasn't closing all the way, it was so no difference. The solenoid was stuck open. I pulled off all the wires from the big posts, but solenoid showed connected on my meter. Lucky I had a spare solenoid to make sure I was correct. Changed out the solenoid to a newer style and everything went together with no spark and ready for the road!!
Thanks Tom
