1990 steering rack
Got my parcar running well. Thank you again to all forum members.
But it got wrecked yesterday, it didnt last to long... it got crashed into some railroad ties. The steering rack bent and the inner tie rod bent. Anyways... if i can straighten the rack... i am thinking of adding a grease zerk to the rack housing. The grease that was in it is rock hard. I am thinkimg of drill and tap a hole on top of the housing and running the zerk through the unused mounting bolt hole. Has anyone made these greasable in the past? |
