Default Rear Seat Question

I have just purchased an electric 1998 EZ Go and want to install a rear seat. Can somebody tell me a good reliable best price place to buy one plus will I also need to put bigger rear springs on the cart?

Thanks

Check the sponsors list. There is one on there by the name of a Steeling manufacturing, they were also on eBay. They carry the cheapest that I have found and they are good quality. I have one and I didn't change my springs; but you may need to if you plan to haul heavy folks back there often.

I had a stock two leaf rear spring set up when I put my rear seat on. Everybody was saying you need to go to a HD rear spring so I installed a HD rear spring.

Well on my 2005 TXT PDS it rode very hard. I could tell you where every little bump was in the street. So after riding around with this for two months I ordered a stock three leaf rear spring set up. It rode so much better wish I would have did it earlier.

Bottom line is not all carts need a HD rear springs set up.

That's my two cent on this subject.

I have read elsewhere that on some rear seats you may have to move the front seat rest forward a few inches for install. Do you know if the Steeling is this way?

I didn't have to on mine. Pretty simple install. I think their eBay price is $289 free shipping.

Don't know much about EZGO but I noticed that somebody is selling one in the parts for sale section...just thought I'd share it.

Thanks for the heads up but he's too far from me to make that work.

One more question before I order.....The model number on my cart is F198, from my research this is supposed to be a 1998 TXT DCS.

Is this correct?

This is the seat I'm going to buy.
