Even the "cheapo harbor freight jump-start box" has at least a couple times the amperage of most motorcycle batteries. As previously stated, try it with a car battery & see what you've got.

Thanks guys for all of the feedback. I'll try it with a car battery and see if I get any movement of the axles.
I'll post an update after I test it. |

Well, I tried a car battery and it didn't turn so I opened it up and found some rust, some surface and some that seems like a bit more. I can't even pull the armature from the brushes.
Is there any way to clean it up? Or am I SOL? 😞 Thanks, Vaughn |

Take it to a motor shop and have them evaluate and rebuild it. Most motors can be "cleaned up" but you need to have the right equipment to do it properly.
