Bad Boy 2008
I just bought a used 2008 bad boy buggy and need to replace the batteries. Has anyone ever changed the 8 six volt batteries out for 6 eights or 4 twelves.

Re: Bad Boy 2008
48 volts is 48 volts no matter how you get there as long as you use like voltage batteries. BBB are heavier than standard golf carts if its 4WD. Those 2 motors can draw some amps so it goes without saying the lower number of batteries will provide less reserve amp/hrs and reduce run time. The main question to ask yourself is how far do you want to run before you reach 60% SOC?
