verify that the micro are being activated by the cam on the F&R, if you take the cam apart, be ready for some real fun putting it back together

FWIW:

The entire DCS F/R switch assembly can be replaced with a DPDT/Center- OFF toggle switch.

(I also have diagram for early style DCS F/R with diode)

Then it sounds like a controller problem. Alltrax DCS replacement is the best way to go.

I have a basic NCT Alltrax controller for sale if you are looking for stock performance.

First thank you for posting the picture of the wiring!

Questions:

a) Is that a doorknob protector you used as the backing plate on the switch?
b) Same wiring for the Club Car President F/R switch and housing?

I hate my hockey puck DCS F/R switch. The nut on the back is toast and I am constantly fighting with it as the puck is off alignment.

a. Don't know, not my cart or picture. I found it on the BGW forum and saved it.

b. Yes, but the CC switch comes in two flavors SPDT and DPDT, you need the DPDT.

Thanks! Ordered a new DPDT CC switch and housing. :) Hockey puck has to go. Even though I love hockey and have three kids playing the sport pucks are best used on ice and not for switches. :)

But you can send the old puck off in style when your new switch comes. See how long it lasts with your kids in a real game of hockey.
