Default Alternative Buss Bar for 5 solenoid

I'm rebuilding an old DS with the 5 solenoid setup. The buss bar needs to be replaced and I'm looking for ideas on a cheap replacement. Copper isn't readily available. Has anyone just used scrap steel or something like that as a suitable replacement.

Another vote for cables. I did that once. Very easy.

You can buy a stick of copper, cut, and drill it yourself. Very affordable as well.

Found a simple and effective solution. Just took some half inch copper pipe and smashed it flat.
