Re: Not what I expected....
[QUOTE=Andy4639;1759276][B][COLOR="Red"]Jeff has started the repairs. Looks like he is doing a good job so far. He welded the front frame support back in and got the front bumper straightened out. He said he heated the front axle up and straightened it but I have a new one ordered.
He is now doing the fiberglass work. I got new LED tail lights & head lights for it. I'm looking at putting LED head lights in it though. Always good to have friends in the business! |

Re: Not what I expected....
Late yesterday around 7pm she came over and handed me a $500.00 check. I just deposited it in the bank. At least it's something. She said she would have another next month. We shall see how it goes. |

Lol, minus [COLOR="red"], it looks weird, and boisterous. Forum version of the biggest "truck nuts" one can attain?
If this is "not to be spoken of", just delete the post, I'm not trying to stir. But, I'm sure glad it's getting fixed up nice. I'm glad they didnt just "disappear" about $ in fixing it. Awesome that you knew "just the guy" for the job. Good that some people will stand up to their mistakes, and I hope you get made 100% even on the deal in the end. (And can hopefully see them without too bad of feelings in the future). Sure do love that little car! |

Re: Not what I expected....
I sure hope she does finish paying for it. I'm hoping I get it back next week sometime. I don't care if it takes a couple of months for her to pay it back as long as she does.
The guy fixing it said there was no way to just paint the fiberglass are just the metal and it look right. He said I have to paint the whole thing. I did have him fill in the back fenders holes for the old tail lights though. I bought new flush mounted ones. The fender holes are the only extra he is doing that I know about. |
