Replace the batteries in your handheld DVM and measure that voltage again.

If there was only 3.7V at the keyswitch, the solenoid wouldn't click (energize) and the cart wouldn't run. See attached schematic for a TXT-48, the keyswitch is labeled KSI (Key Switch Interlock)

Be very careful probing the key switch wires on an RXV. Touch the wrong thing and you'll be shopping for a new controller. Don't ask me how I know.

Hmmm. Yea I may need to recheck. I ran 16ga directly from bat pack to meter.
