Default Club Car Electronic Start

After having loads of trouble with the starter solenoid I came up with this solution. Running for 2 years without a problem. Any thoughts?

I don't really see the purpose.
What kind of trouble were you having with the solenoids?
Most common problems are that the solenoid is a cheapo aftermarket, or that someone has installed a typical automotive type solenoid which is not designed for continuous duty.
These solenoids are engaged the entire time the engine is running, and an automotive solenoid is not, so using one of those burns the coil out.

The only real reasons to need to alter the circuit are either the motor has been modified to spin faster than the starter generator was designed for, or the starter generator has been modified to have a higher than normal output. Either of these would increase the continuous amp load across the primary contacts of the solenoid which could lead to excess arcing or heat during operation. Otherwise, I'm not sure I see the point.

Contacts kept burning out on genuine Club Car solenoids, used up 3 altogether.
Now the solenoid is only used to open the starting circuit if the engine fails to start.
