Default Good problem bad problem

ok after all the tuning of the motor and clutch the cart is hiting hard!

only problem is that with my normal tool load - about 100lbs of 2 chainsaws, two gas tanks tool box. the front end comes up wayyy too easy. I hit the gas and pulled the front end off the ground coming off a corner. then came down with the wheels a little cocked to the side. immediate switch of directions!

So I am being a lot more careful in the corners! time for some videos !

took a drive today through my woods track. Lots of water! went slow through the water puddles and the belt gripped great!. Shows the benefit of tuning.

also thinking of dropping the front end 3 inches or two holes on the front suspension to try and get some more bite in the front end.

fill the front tires about 3/4 full with windshield washer fluid or anti freeze. that'll help by putting weight right where you need it.
lowering the front may help some but until you change the location of the rear axle it'll still be a pivot point for your weight distribution. add weigh to the front or lengthen the cart's wheelbase are about your only options that I see. adding weight to the front will reduce traction in the rear. you know, like a loader on a tractor with a bucket full of dirt. or move the whole rear section back some. The big workhorse carts are around 10" longer in the wheelbase than a normal cart. They won't even hint at offering to bring the front off the ground unless loaded funky or when you jump them over something.

I have a front cargo carrier that goes in the front jakes receiver. I do occasionally put all the chainsaws in the front carrier. My kids don't like it as they have to be more careful going around corners and it cuts the approach angle
