Well after searching for a very long time today, I have found nothing useful. If I had a good set of old points that actually were strong and worked I would change the ignition to make it low voltage at the points. I have looked and looked for even a picture of the old points that I have and couldn't even find that. Very discouraged! Now we have some go kart racers coming over to look at it to see if there is anything in their stuff that would make us run again...Now I see why there are ez-go graveyards sitting all around.

I did a refurb on a Harley 3 wheel that didn't give me this much trouble!

top-cat...I looked there. The points they have are 1974-79 Item #: GCT102606. We have a cart that is pre-1974 which would be 1971-early 1974. These are discontinued. I cannot even find a picture on the internet of the points we have. I surely can't be the only person that has ran into this before. I need a new set now just to get it switched over to electronic ignition. Gonna be really difficult to make a magnetic pickup for an ignition signal without using a set of points.
