Quick ? about solenoid
I bought a continious operational solenoid today for my 2pg "88 ezgo".Is this correct type? I presently have one for a ford in it just to get it running and after a few times of riding around the solenoid in it is starting to stick in the closed position keeping the engine running. I know this is the wrong one in it but it"s coming out and correct one going in. Should it be a continious type or just the standard type? Haven't put it in yet cause once I do I can no longer return it.......$35.

Re: Quick ? about solenoid
That's correct. The standard solenoid as in an auto starter motor is not designed to stay energized for more than a few minutes. The continuous version is just more robust and thus more expensive. Go for it!
