going from 6x8volt /to 4x12volt batts/free deep cells
I am going to use them . as i don't use a cart enough to say so. My question can i wire the 12 volt batts ,the same as the 6x8 volts just basically leaving out 4 of the 8 volts batts? Do i need anything else; controllers solenoids; resistors; etc. before i take this cart out.for A spin? To my way of thinking! wiring is the same for 4 /12volt batts just less wire +fittings.

Yes. Just wire the four batteries in series.
