2011 Electric Precedent does nothing
I have a electric 2011 Precedent That does nothing.
Battery pack OK. Batteries charge just fine. When in reverse no buzzer. Solenoid does not close. Have tested Solenoid by supplying 48vdc to coil and it closes. Best I can tell by troubleshooting guide MCOR is OK. Is there a way to bypass the OBC and is there a way to test the controller. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Ken |

Re: 2011 Electric Precedent does nothing
A bad OBC lockout circuit will do that.
Disconnect the 6-pin connector from the OBC. Using a large paper clip or a stiff wire jump the White and the Blue wires on the 6-pin connector that is in the cart harness side. Use some electrical tape on any exposed wire to prevent a short. Test drive the cart. |

Still does nothing. I would assume then the OBC is defective.

Nope, that test just eliminated the OBC lockout being the cause of the problem.
Check the 15 amp fuse in the harness fuse holder near the controller 16-pin connector. |

Do You get any voltage at the Key Switch when the Tow/Run switch is on Run?

Yes.
Re-checked the Forward/Reverse switch and it is ok. Re-checked the MCOR and it is ok. Works in another cart just fine. Stumped.. |

Re: 2011 Electric Precedent does nothing
Jack the rear wheels up off of the ground and remove the controller access cover. Unplug the 16 pin connector from the controller.
At this point you need to check for every signal coming into the controller. Put your meter on 200V DC and place the negative probe on the main negative battery terminal. With key switch on, F&R switch in forward, and tow/run switch in run, check for power on the grey wire, tan wire, and brown wire. You should have power on all three of these wires. If you don't, let us know which one. |

Have full battery voltage at all three wires.

Re: 2011 Electric Precedent does nothing
Check for power on pin 6, the solid green wire, with the key on, tow/run switch in run, f&r switch in forward, and accelerator pedal down.
