‘96 EZGO TXT - Help!
Hey everyone.
Been a minute since I posted on here. Since then, I’ve sold my ‘09 G29. Made a small profit off it. I’ve had a running project for almost a year now. My ‘96 TXT needs lots of work. It was my first project cart, and it was not a good buy. I’ve learned, I promise! It had tons of rust, needed a new controller, and motor, and tons of other stuff. We purchased a large lake property, and I think we will use it their. It has a gorgeous red paint job and it’ll be cool once it’s finished. Here’s what I need from you golf cart experts. I need suggestions for the best 36v motor, and what all I should do to make it reliable, on a budget. And of course, any other inputs you have. |

well first off, we would need to know which drive system you have, either SERIES or SEPEX.
AND is it hilly or relatively flat at your lake property? ezgoguide.jpg |

Also need to know what you want out of it. Do you want 24mph but don't plan on pulling anything or having 4 passengers? Do you want to pull a trailer through a field with hills but don't mind being limited to 13mph?
