Carburetor help: leaking gas
Looking for some guidance. I just bought a 94 club car villager 8, gas. I’m in satellite beach before anyone freaks out :)
The previous owner said he had just installed a new carburetor and fuel pump as the cart had been sitting. The cart has only been driven a few times and I realized the top carburetor looks like it’s missing a hose. Looked up the schematic and found it indeed is missing a hose (where the gas is spitting out from) but I cannot find a schematic of where the hose is supposed to come or go from. Attaching some photos. Thanks! It’s then#3 hose from the attached schematic. |

Re: Carburetor help: leaking gas
That's the bowl vent, it is NOT for overflow and if gas is coming out of there it means the float is stuck and the carb needs to be removed and thoroughly cleaned.
