G16 running rough
I have a 1997 G16. It runs very rough for the first 5-10 minutes. It hesitates when I give it gas, and needs to be choked all the way through that warmup period. I've change the plug and fuel filter and air filter.
Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Re: G16 running rough
Try pulling the carb off for a good cleaning and the same with the fuel pump.

Re: G16 running rough
Usually a good tune up will take care of this unless it is just cold collared. Check your throttle adjustment and spray out the carb with carb cleaner. I would also pull the bowl and clean out where the float is located. Also, make sure your airbox is completely sealed. Check the tightness of the carb. to intake. Spacer may have a small leak. Do not overtighten the 10mm nuts, just make sure they are snug. The spacers on these are very easily cracked.
