Re: clutch tuning kits
Chock the wheels on your cart,
Put it in maintenance/service mode, and in neutral, (Under the seat, on the backside of the forward/reverse shifter, there's a yellow triangular knob, pull it away from the micro switches, and rotate it about 180 degrees, and gently help it slide back in under the microswitches) There is a black box on the drivers side, remove the cover, and you'll see a "boat load" of wires, and throttle cables with 2 microswitches, remove the only black wire from (I think) the top microswitch, (That's the throttle kill switch) and, set it off to the side where it won't ground, Reinstall the cover to the box, turn the key on, touch the gas pedal, and turn the idle screw up about a half to 1 turn until it stays running on it's own... but not too high where the back (secondary/driven) clutch starts to turn! turn the key off, take it out of maintenance/service mode, remove the chocks, test drive, and adjust the idle as needed! Peice of cake! (whew!... Thanks to Tom at CPP for this info!) |

Re: clutch tuning kits
I tried the kit for the EZ GO............ I don't own a club car. I Should have paid attention to the model of cart They don't make a 28 deg for a CC. The machined clutches are the way for high performance club car (and other) clutches. CPP is the best that I have heard of..........
(notice, I didn't plug BU!!) |

Re: clutch tuning kits
Can you tell me which wire and micro switch to disconnect to get my cc to idle? Please be as descriptive as possible as I'm semi mechanically ignorant. Thanks
