Default Ezgo brake return torsion spring

Is there any tip or tricks for getting. This damnnnnn thing back on. It's giving me problems and really pissing me off.

install one brake shoe.
install the springs on it.
set the second shoe in place but at a 45 degree angle out from the backing plate.
Install the springs to the second shoe.
push the shoe flush to tthe backing plate and lock it in place.

Oh, that one is a little more fun...... you have to fight with it a bit. I usually use at least 2 flat blade screwdrivers and typically end up with a few skinned knuckles...... Needless to say, I remove them as a last resort.

You remove what as a last resort? This is making me go crazy. I should have done this before I installed the fricking floor pan.

I remove that torsion spring as a last resort..... they are a bitch to replace.....

Well I had to remove it. I took my cart all the way down to the frame. Well now I regret doing it. But there has to be a way to do it.

Agree with your after thought but it can be done from below..... you just need to find the right tool I think I used a brake adjustment tool last time?

Try 2 pairs of vice grips, a screwy driver and a hammer.
