Jonnie b you are the man. I did what you said and left the charger go even though the batteries were boiling and after 3 hours the charger shut off thank you thank you thank you

I have not read anything here that indicates your charger is bad. New batteries require long charging times and the cut off voltage is between 44 and 46v

Take your cart out and run the pack down to 37.something volts then in the evening put the cart on the charger and see if it is off in the morning. The max time on the charger is 16hours.

This is normal. I even had a set or two that went 18 and 20 hours on their 1st charge.
Batteries do not boil they gas...... ventilate the area this is hydrogen gas.

Thank you all for all the info, you saved me. The sad part is when I called my local cart dealer and told them the symptoms they said I needed a new charger right of of the bat. You all are a wealth of knowledge thank you so much
