As a guy who's spent most of my life in the mountains of Colorado, I can tell you, your going to need something much more heavy duty than a golf cart up there! Yes, there are a ton of trails in the mountains - nothing around denver though. You'll use your cart one time, and go, this is not going to work!! Rocks on almost any trail in the mountains are typically no smaller than your steering wheel and would eat a golf cart up pretty quick! If your wanting to haul around the family, either get a GOOD UTV (4 wheel drive) or build/buy a off-roading truck. I bought my son a little 2wd ATV. After one trip, the ATV was trashed!

very true. i spend the weekend up in the trails before it was snow and i came to relies that its like boulders. a 4x4 utv. atv or dirt bike.. might destroy the golf cart. its a gread pit ride when camping up here though
