Cart stoped working after bumped..
I have a old (1990s i think) Electric Yamaha golf cart that got bumped, and stoped working...
- Does not drive - Wont charge (charger box dosn't buzz, and gauge doses not move) - Reverse buzzer does not sound - Volt meter shows batteries have charge - Horn connected directly to batteries works The instant it got bumped it stopped driveing, so i'm guessing something got moved slightly out of place.. any ideas? |

Re: Cart stoped working after bumped..
Check the voltage at the charge port terminals (I bet it's zero), then follow them back to where they connect to the batteries. Many Yamahas of that era get power from the charge port to power up all the signal wires (key switch, pedal switch, solenoid, ect). So "doesn't charge" plus, "doesn't charge" leads me to the charge port, and it's wires to the batteries main B+ & B-
