Carryall 272 locking transaxle help needed
Here's an odd one - In the 2004/2005 parts schematics for a Carryall 272/472 they list two transaxles, both locking, most of the parts are the same except for a few.
The pinion on one has 13 teeth, and its paired with 72 tooth output gear. The pinion on the other has 12 teeth, paired with 64 tooth output gear. I have one of these on my cart and by my calculation it's 15:1 forward and 20:1 reverse. So my questions is which gear set do I have, and what ratio will the other provide? |
