Looking at batteries better suited for golf carts. I'm sick and tired of this cart. POS

Many here rave about the EcoBattery. They have a few different sizes, but the most important thing is that they’re 48v, not 4 x 12v and they are specifically designed for carts.

There are others such as RoyPow and BigBattery that also make cart specific batteries.

Cheers
Pat.

Terminal problems are not always battery problems, you could have poor connections between the cable end (the actual copper stranding) and the terminal. How are your cables constructed? Are they soldered together or crimped?
What material are your terminals ends? Are they copper? Or coated steel?

Friend of mine has a cart shop and he had some large 12v lithium 'golf cart' batteries that kept failing even under the most conservative use. Eventually the manufacturer credited the whole shipment back to the dealer and told him to keep em.
Now imagine a scene where 2 lithium dealers are looking at a full pallet of lithium batteries. One dealer is saying take them, I'll load them in your truck right now and the other saying oh no you don't.

Get a single 48v battery with a max discharge of 300 amps for the best results.

Something I’ve been preaching here from day one.

Funny story Scotty.

I definitely feel I'm going to do that. However, how do I then feed 12V to my headlights etc? The 48V batteries I see online have just one set of posts.

You need a 48V to 12V reducer module. That is the only correct way to power your lights and accessories even if you run separate 12V batteries!!!!!
