G8 Roof support and rear seat compatibility
Hello, Im hoping someone can help me track down if any other Yamaha models share the same rear seat and roof support configuration and I just picked up an electric 93 G8 cart im hoping to add a rear seat and solar panel roof onto. currently there is no roof.

I just used some regular universal roof supports on this G8… my dealer calls them candy canes.

A common upgrade is to replace the G8 front body with a G14-22 body. I did that on mine too. The original is fiberglass and sticks out, just asking to get busted.

thats the thing though, I read this in another thread... but my rear body matches in stock pain finish and also looks to be from a g14-g22 and not a g8 body. I bought the cart from the original owners and they didnt say anything about swapping the body but may have just left it out. my front bumper is totally different also.

Both my rear main body and front cowl are the same blue/green base color even under the paint of the same color. I even have the large acces cover under the rear basket. I will upload pics later.
