Default Club Car grey fused charging receptacle wire

I recently swapped to lithium (Eco Battery) and changed charging receptacle for onboard charger.

What are y’all doing with the grey fused wire connected to OBC? Would really like to use the feature to not allow the cart to move while plugged in.

I am assuming it’s more complicated than just getting it some power when plugged in since Eco Battery did not utilize it.

The grey wire triggers the relay in the charger and really doesn’t have anything to do with the interlock.
The interlock can be used, but you will need a 120vAC relay to interrupt the interlock wire for the controller when the charger is plugged in, and your charger will need to be mounted on-board.

Ok thanks . I found the sticky detailing what I should do. Just need to figure out how/if I can do it with the eco battery charger

You could use an AC relay that senses the 115V power to trigger the interlock circuit. I agree that the interlock is a good idea but I don't have one on either of my carts. The charging cord runs right where I would be getting in the cart so I am confident that I wouldn't drive it with the cord plugged in. Same for my wife.
