you would have to look at pedal group to see if it is adjustable
there is no cheep way to make it a 36v cart , or increes speed

thanks. Are the solenoid resistors "standard" or do i need to order something special?

If i did want to convert to 36v... 7 new solenoids and new batteries/ charger, or is there more to it? Everything I can find online shows the Pargo 800 series carts as 36V, so gotta think everything else would work?

So cart died on me last week after about 30 minutes of driving around the neighborhood... Pushed it back home and put it on the charger and went to Harbor Freight to get a load tester. All 4 batteries tested borderline weak on the load tester, but nothing dramatic.

Charged batteries back up and were reading 25.4v. Hooked up a multimeter and went for a spin around the neighborhood. At rest batteries were reading 24.4v and under full throttle I was seeing ~23.5v, with it dropping down to 23.2v on a slight incline.

Is this normal or are my batteries toast?

21v is your lowest desired voltage while driving, so, so far not so bad. If you did switch to 32v, you could re wire the control circuits to only run from 3 batteries, keeping the solenoid coils at 24v, the large wires & contacts will be fine on 32v.

Your "resistor control" vehicle has no "precharge resistors" because there are no capacitors to "charge". If you add "precharge resistors" the battery pack will be drained for no reason or benefit. The device on the small solenoid terminals is a blocking diode, not a resistor. Cart will run without the diodes, but they are there to protect the contacts inside the gas pedal switch.

As asked for in PM. More info on my comment of "rewire control circuits to stay on 24v, while running higher voltage to motor". Pay close attention to section of wire removed and re-routed from original. In the edited pic, the control circuits run on 24v, while motor runs on 36v (2 batteries were removed from the control circuit power source).
