Default how to check brushes series motor

what is the best way to check the brushes on a series motor (95 medalist), stock motor? any help is greatly appreciated.

If you know what you are doing, pull the motor, slip the case off and check for size and contact area. If you don't know or aren't sure, it is fairly inexpensive to take it to a competent electric motor shop and have them do a complete check.
Disconnect the primary, (first) ground from the battery pack before you do anything else. Use two wrenches on the leads for the motor. One to hold the lower, (mounting), nut in place and one to loosen the upper lead retaining nut. Loosen the motor mount bolts equally and leave them attached to the motor case. Slide the motor straight out, away from the axle and use two hands while handling it. Once the mount bolts are loose, the case is no longer attached to the rotor assembly.

Thank you, that's exactly what I did, as you said it is not that difficult and there is enough room to get it out of the cart. just needed alittle confirmation. again thanks now for inspection,
