Default Flip rear seat

Installed my flip rear seat today and here is the review.

Purchased it from DIY Golf Cart...they are nice people.

I would have to say that I am very disappointed in the seat with regards to the installation.

The instructions they included you might as well just throw away. The video they reference was not accurate to the product.

The biggest issue was the bolt sizes were not accurate to any of the instructions or the video.

Spent 7 hours trying to figure it out. I had to basically dry fit the pieces and go through the bolts taking parts back off of it. Basically trial and error. The instructions would call for a bolt too short to even put a nut onto it or not be fully threaded.

In the end, had to get a couple of my own bolts and nuts to get it to work.

I did call them and they were real nice...offered to send out more bolts, but not sure that was going to make the difference.

This is something that should be a 1 to 2 hour project with just a little better directions.

Thanks for that review. Maybe they will take the the critism and improve the directions and manual.

I plan purchasing a rear seat one day.

I really hate to post anything negative as I hope if they read this, they will fix their directions and kit.

I have learned a great deal from watching their YouTube videos...

I can certainly understand how a video might not be exact to every detail and should be more of a guide...but some updating to their instructions that are included would go a long ways.
