Fuse question
I have a blue sea fuse box for my Accessory Battery.
I have an inline fuse going to the fuse box. So far the only thing I had hooked up to the fuse box was led front and rear lights. I am going to connect some other accessories to the fuse box now. Should the inline fuse going to the fuse box be larger than the sum of all amps pulled by the fuse box? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Yes and No, size the fuse off the primary wire feeding the fuse block. Size the WIRE based off of the total amp draw. Overkill is ok.

Re: Fuse question
For starters, I probably wouldn't have put a fuse-holder in the wire feeding the fuse box.
However, if you are using a voltage reducer, fuse the input of the fuse box at the max amp output of the voltage reducer. If you are taping the battery pack for 12V, do as 270Handiman suggested. |

I'd sum the amp draw from all accessories fed by the fuse box, add 10% and round up to next standard fuse size, but not exceed the max amps for the wires gauge used to feed the fuse box. |
