Is this the same drive controller as a 96 txt series cart? If so I have mine that will be forsale. I will be upgrading.

I suspected that might have been what happened.
A 1996 TXT with series drive has a Curtis 1206 controller. Even if you could wire it in, the throttle type is different. (XI-500 has a 0-5K throttle and the TXT series has a ITS) |

The one on mine says 1205-112, is that 1204 the same? 400amp

Sorry another question, i seen some that say "275A"...mine is 400A does this matter?
