Wire Colors For Complete Rebuild
I'm completely restoring a '79 Marathon and control wires and accessories are next. I have most colors of 12 and 14 gauge wire at my disposal. I will be installing a voltage reducer and running various 12v circuits. Is there any standard color coding for 12v circuits in the presence of 48v red and black? Do the key switch wires have a standard color? Reversing contactor? High and Low switch? Headlights? If there's any others y'all can think of let me know.

Just get a ezgo wiring diagram for you year model cart and the colors are right on it.
