I got the cheapest one from Nick. Overnight charging is fine for me. Do your instructions mention anything about min voltages etc.?

You would have to ask him what the min voltage for your pack is and plug in appropriately.

He told me that you can actually run the 36v (38v charged) packs down to 25 volts but after that the power drop is very dramatic. This min voltage issue pertains more to getting them charged back with the chargers they sell. Only one of their charges will initiate a charge if pack voltage is below 35v.

So you would want to give yourself a cushion above 25v. Did you get a charger that will charge when voltage is below 35v?

I never let my LA batt pack get below 37v and don't plan to do that with the Li pack so I did not get the charger that charges below 35v. I also have other chargers that could take the LI pack up to 35v if needed but I don't think that will be needed. My main concern was to get a charger that was compatible with the LI pack and would do the proper termination voltage end of charge.

Local o'reillys will give a $10 card for junk starting battery, maybe talk with the manager & you can come out with a nice gift card.
In the FWIW category I was at my cart dealer today to get a battery lift strap and he told me he would give me core value at $24.50 apiece for my old batts.

I have a question about pushing the cart around. I need to pull the cart out of the corner of my garage to pull the batts out. Then I will need to push it back into the corner until I get to install the new pack. With the brake off, switch in "tow" mode does the motor provide any resistance or are these pretty easy to push around on a level floor? Or does it need battery power when in the tow mode to disengage the motor?

txt cart the Run/Tow switch kills power to the controller when in tow so no batteries needed for that.

Rxv cart has a motor brake that needs voltage to disengage.
