Battery Charging
I have a 2010 RXV with four 12V.
I have a Qui Q charger. I plug my charger in whenever not using the cart. I have notified that if I have not driven the cart for a couple days and then come out and unplug the charger (it is showing full charge) and go riding that my batteries do not last near as long as if I had driven the car in the morning - fully charged the batteries and take it out again that night. Are my batteries losing charge and the charger not kicking back on? I have also noticed that sometimes between those days it will cut on for a little bit to charge as if it has lost some charge. How do I make sure it keeps the batteries fully charged even if I have not driven in a few days? I do have a radio, but I have an on off switch to give it power and always have it turned off when not using. |

Re: Battery Charging
Get a profile installed on your current QuiQ charger that features a "float mode" (might be possible if you find someone experienced with Delta-q chargers, I can do it, but Delta-q will say no). Or buy a DPI charger, they mostly all have float mode.

Re: Battery Charging
If you keep the same charger try unplugging it then plug it back in. That way it will run another charge cycle for you.

Re: Battery Charging
Unplug from cart, not wall.

Re: Battery Charging
Where would I go to get someone to make my Delta q have a float charge?

Re: Battery Charging
Usgicollecter - should I unplug for any specified period of time or just a few seconds?

Re: Battery Charging
Less than one second is adequate.
