EZGO 1992 marthon stopped running.

A battery cable got hot and welted a battery cap and stopped running, I replaced the cable, nothing, I got on line for trouble shot advice, ( controller) I have a curits 1204-027 current 275 24/36v p/n 4626750 I replaced it with a 1204-5306 current 325A p/n 17724705 , from china , I told them what I have they said this would work, did I get the wrong controller, I also replaced the micro switch for the potentiometer, the micro switch for F/R controller, solenoid 36v, diod,rester , cleaned all cables, or replaced them, also tested the motor it's fin ( connected the motor to the battery direct) the solenoid does not click, can any one help me with this, I new to the forum, If Im not asking the ? correctly let me know, thank you for your help.

If the solenoid isn't clicking something is probably hooked up wrong. Double check the safety circuit. It's the one that goes through the key switch, and the pedal switch and the micro switches. Something there is probably hook up wrong or it's missing power on the other side.

Actually since you had a meltdown event check the F&R micro switch (ms) and make sure they are working now. That could be the problem.

The should be 36v (+) power on both terminals of the passenger side ms and the other one is not needed to make the cart run - it controls reduced reverse speed

where is the padele switch,is it on the potentiometer?

XXcfdrr thank you, The revers signal buzzer was not connected to the battery, a small black wire I dident see, it well well go forward but no revers, I think I burned up the revers micro switch but I do not know which one is which? I have a diagram but not sure you were a great help, think you.
